About the Business

Katherine Gulley Clinical Counselling is a distinguished venture led by a seasoned therapist with 17 years of experience, with 12 of those years working as a clinical supervisor. Driven by a passion for teaching, Katherine has become a leading expert in working with children and youth generally and is especially called upon for her expertise in working with children and youth who are neurodiverse. Katherine aims to empower clinical counsellors, both newer and established, providing them with the comprehensive knowledge and tools necessary to confidently navigate the challenges of supporting children and youth in need of mental health assistance. With a strong focus on education, Katherine seeks to launch a platform offering courses and core training, creating a one-stop shop for counsellors to enhance their expertise. Beyond individual development, the long-term vision includes building a supportive community for counsellors, fostering connection, growth, and continuous learning.

Goals

Developing the branding for Katherine Gulley Clinical Counselling was a process deeply rooted in strategic thinking and creative exploration. The goal was to capture the essence of expertise, creativity, and community, aligning closely with Katherine's vision and mission.

Drawing inspiration from Katherine's extensive experience in mental health for children and youth, her passion for teaching, as well as her mission to build a supportive community for counsellors, I crafted a brand identity that incorporates education, growth and renewal, connection, and elegance, while finding a balance between friendly and personable, and professional or mature.

The brand strategy development involved an in-depth analysis of Katherine's target audience, her unique selling points, and the competitive landscape. This informed the decision-making process for typography, color palettes, and visual motifs, ensuring that every aspect of the branding resonated with the intended audience and differentiated Katherine Gulley Clinical Counselling from competitors.

Through thoughtful typography, rich color palettes, and timeless botanical motifs, the brand radiates a sense of knowledge and growth while fostering a welcoming environment for counsellors and clients alike.

The result is a cohesive visual identity that not only reflects Katherine's passion for teaching and supporting others but also sets the stage for a transformative experience in the realm of mental health for children and youth.
